Undervejs (Underway in Danish) is a traveling agency that arranges hiking vacations with a dab of luxury.
Undervejs is on a mission to get more people out in nature. Through hiking, Undervejs aims to make it far more attractive to be in the very nature we all (knowingly or unknowingly) long for, but also need to care more for.
Ditte, the woman behind Undervejs, is an experienced hiker. Through many hours of research (and miles in her legs) she has curated and planned the routes to accommodate hikers of all levels. A dab of luxury is added, with carefully selected overnight stays and luggage is transported every day, allowing you to just experience and enjoy the nature.
I was asked to design a logo and visual identity for Undervejs that was rooted in nature but also included a luxurious feel. The result is a light and delicate, but also a little rugged, form language. It’s invigorated with a color palette inspired by nature’s many hues, but with a strong connection to the ground itself. A swooshy shape symbolizes fresh air, waves and the winding road.
